Dawson Shanahan: Meet the team

We’ve a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience at Dawson Shanahan. Our 90-strong team includes commercial, design, development, engineering and quality experts, plus specialists in sales, administration and customer support.

Les Reeves

Les Reeves

Managing Director
Les Reeves is Joint Managing Director at Dawson Shanahan. He joined the company in 1997 having spent the vast majority of his career in the manufacturing sector and oversees day to day operations and performance. Les is a science graduate, a qualified chartered management accountant and holds a postgraduate diploma in marketing.
Jeff Kiernan

Jeff Kiernan

Commercial Director
Jeff Kiernan is Commercial Director at Dawson Shanahan. As a graduate engineer with management qualifications, he has a proven background in production engineering and quality control. His experience in the sector spans over 30 years, including production, technical and senior management positions for leading multinational organisations.
Mark Jenning

Mark Jennings

Engineering Director
Mark Jennings is Engineering Director at Dawson Shanahan. He is responsible for process design and development and has acquired his in-depth knowledge and extensive expertise in a career that has so far spanned more than 38 years. Mark specialises in cold forming and joined Dawson Shanahan in 2000.
Dave Richards

David Richards

Engineering Manager
David Richards is Engineering Manager at Dawson Shanahan. He is responsible for supporting customers, designing tools and overseeing component manufacture, and specialises in cold forming and precision machining. David has over 50 years’ experience in engineering, having worked at Floform Ltd for 44 years before becoming a member of the Dawson Shanahan team in 2009.
Henning-Dieckmann

Henning Dieckmann

Sales Representative
Henning Dieckmann is Sales Representative at Dawson Shanahan and is responsible for supporting customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has over 20 year’s experience in the engineering sector and joined Dawson Shanahan in October 2002. Henning specialises in high voltage components for electric vehicles, plasma cutting components, chrome-plating of plastics, and valve train components.
john moore

Jon Moore

Production Director
Jon Moore joined Dawson Shanahan in 2012 as Maintenance Manager, then moved into the role of Operations Manager and now as Production Director he is responsible for leading the machine workshop and expanding the manufacturing business. Having worked across a number of sectors, he leads a dynamic engineering team to ensure manufacturing processes and procedures are optimised to deliver quality products to industry and customer standards.

Paul Davidson

Quality Manager / Health, Safety and Environmental Officer
Paul Davidson is responsible for Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems, ensuring conformance to legal requirements and the IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system standards.
Paul has dedicated his entire career to the manufacturing and automotive industry and has over 25 years experience in the quality sector of the industry.
