We’ve been leaders in copper machining since the first power semiconductor devices.

These devices had to be made from nearly pure copper – what is known today as Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity Copper (OFHC). Dawson Shanahan was commissioned because this was a notoriously difficult material to machine and we succeeded in machining the OFHC.
