09 Feb Dawson Shanahan selected as CommonwealthFirst Export Champion
Welshpool-based engineering specialist Dawson Shanahan has been selected as an Export Champion in the prestigious CommonwealthFirst programme. The company has been chosen based on its potential for innovation, level of impact and ambition.
The CommonwealthFirst programme was established by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council with the purpose of increasing trade between countries within the Commonwealth.
As an Export Champion, Dawson Shanahan will have unique access to fast growing Commonwealth markets such as Australia, Canada and India. It is one of 100 leading UK SMEs selected to receive intensive training, mentoring, trade missions and business development support that is designed to help secure new business in the 52 countries that make up the Commonwealth.
