Power of the SUBCON(cious)

Power of the SUBCON(cious)

With all the encouraging noises being made about the UK economy this year, the power of all these good vibes on business decisions shouldn’t be under-estimated.

Latest news from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) both make for positive reading for UK businesses and manufacturers. The CBI claims that growth reached a record level in May; it’s highest reading since data gathering began in 2003. In their latest survey, the CBI also found that 36% of manufacturers had seen output volumes increase in the past three months. Equally the BCC upgraded the UK’s growth forecast by 0.3% from 2.8% to 3.1% in 2014.

One of the welcome consequences of all this news is that more businesses are feeling positive. This means they are more likely to invest in the business and as a result are more likely to require third party collaboration or sub-contracting of services.

The benefits of sub-contracting and collaborating are plentiful. The sharing of the workload and knowledge is invaluable. Your business can readily utilise the expertise of another to offer improved customer service, spur innovation and R&D.

A great platform to learn more about the benefits of subcontracting is Subcon. Coincidentally we’ll also be there, looking at the expertise of other engineering companies as well as espousing the virtues of our technology, which has the ability to increase output and reduce waste using precision cold forming.

If you’re heading to Subcon (which runs from the 3rd-5th of June), come and see us on stand K6 to find out more about our processes which can really add value to your service offering.
