The Year in Review

2015 will undoubtedly go down as one of the busiest yet rewarding years in our long history – and that’s saying something! We feel like we’ve seen and experienced it all.

As well as taking on a number of fascinating new projects and having our very own engineering technician Paul Blainey nominated for a James Dyson Award, we’ve also moved to a new home in Wales and celebrated Dawson Shanahan sponsored local junior athlete Adele Nicoll reaching the European Athletics Junior Championships finals. And that’s just the start!

It’s not just us that has been busy, however. The engineering and manufacturing sectors also seem to be benefiting from an upturn in fortunes following the tough recession years. The innovations and plans for future technological advances in such industries as automotive and aerospace that have been released this year have been astonishing.

We’ve our fingers crossed that 2016 is as exciting as this past year. At present, the forecasts are looking promising, and with metals such as copper and stainless steel at favourable prices we’re preparing for our customers take advantage of the potential cost benefits.

With only a matter of business days left until the New Year, we’re already looking forward to 2016 and continuing to deliver the high quality service we’re renowned for. For now though, its time to enjoy the holidays with our families. Merry Christmas loyal blog readers and Happy New Year.
